Sergeyenko: Great Stone Industrial Park developing both infrastructure and social sphere

The Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park has created a unique ecosystem that allows for the implementation of high-tech, competitive and innovative projects with high export potential – as noted by Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus’ National Assembly Igor Sergeyenko during today’s seminar at the Great Stone Industrial Park

The deputies of the House of Representatives, headed by the Chairman, have visited the unique economic zone, got acquainted with UAVs and ultra-light manned aircraft produced by the Aviation Technologies and Systems Chinese-Belarusian JV, as well as visited the Belarusian enterprise KUVO, which produces automotive glass for land passenger transport.

During the plenary session, the Chairman of the House of Representatives noted that the seminar is aimed at solving two tasks: to discuss issues of investment and export policy implementation and to get acquainted with positive examples of capital investment and creation of new production facilities.

“During our visit to the industrial park, we were able to see what economic effect its creation and development had for our country, as well as the introduction of favourable conditions for residents. Most importantly, the park is developing, and there are promising projects. There are 144 residents registered on its territory, 53 operating production facilities, 20 are under construction, 19 are at the stage of project preparation. The Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park is developing both infrastructure and social sphere,” Mr. Sergeyenko emphasised.
