According to Mr. Vucic, this will be one of the largest infrastructure projects that Serbia has ever entered before.

"The total cost of the project will make 2bn 775m Euros, and we will allocate 525m Euros from the budget. The rest will come from the European Investment Bank, the Bank for Renewal and Development – which will be the biggest help, the biggest support, the biggest money," the Serbian leader stressed.

According to Mr. Vucic, due to the railway section construction, the travel time between the cities will take only 100 minutes instead of the current 4-6 hours.
