Senko discussed Belarus' admission to SCO with its Secretary General

Yuri Senko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China, met with SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming, the Belarusian diplomatic mission reports

The parties discussed the current agenda of co-operation between Belarus and the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation, also exchanging views on the prospects for development of the latter.

"Special attention was paid to the implementation of the decision agreed upon during the September meeting of the Council of Heads of State in Samarkand on the start of the procedure for Belarus' admission to the SCO membership, as well as contacts at the highest level in 2023," the diplomatic mission informed.
