Savinykh: Ukraine paying for West’s assistance with lives of its military
Ukraine has to pay for Western military assistance with the lives of its soldiers – as noted by Andrei Savinykh, the Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, in his talk with STV TV channel
Andrei Savinykh drew attention to the fact that the Ukrainian military are dying in huge numbers.
“They say that Ukraine pays with its enterprises. Unfortunately, the situation is much worse. No serious investor can consider ownership of these enterprises when the country is in a zone of armed conflict. This means that Ukraine is really paying for the help of the West with the lives of its military, who are dying in huge numbers. While this is happening, the flow will not dry up,” Andrei Savinykh is confident.
Moreover, the official discussed what the outcome of the Russian special operation would be for the Ukrainian government.
“I do not quite understand the logic of a possible replacement, since in the mental picture it implies at least the preservation of the old Ukrainian government, which is dependent on the West. But the result of the special military operation will mean the destruction of this power and the transition of Ukraine to a completely new quality,” Andrei Savinykh believes.
