Sabalenka still on top in WTA rankings
The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) published an updated version of its global rankings, with Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) still on top. The Belarusian star will finish the year as No.1 female tennis player in the world.
Victoria Azarenka kept her 20th spot while Aliaksandra Sasnovich moved 2 places down and is now the 146th in the world.
There were no changes in the top 10 compared to the week before. Aryna Sabalenka leads, followed by Iga Swiatek (Poland), Coco Gauff (USA), Jasmine Paolini (Italy), Quinwen Zheng (China), Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan), Jessica Pegula (USA), Emma Navarro (USA), Daria Kasatkina (Russia), and Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic).
The best male Belarusian player, Egor Gerasimov, lost 3 positions in the rankings published by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He’s now No. 335 in the world.
Jannik Sinner (Italy) kept his top spot as well. Below him are Alexander Zverev (Germany), Carlos Alcaraz (Spain), Taylor Fritz (USA), Daniil Medvedev (Russia), Casper Ruud (Norway), Novak Djokovic (Serbia), Andrey Rublev (Russia), Alex de Minaur (Australia), and Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria).
