Russian political analyst: one of US goals is coup d’état in Belarus

“After the events of August 2020 in Belarus, the Americans received a very unpleasant surprise. Belarus managed to withstand, and all the plans of the United States fell apart, although the latter were absolutely sure of their success. Now, the Americans have the only goal: to make the current President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, leave. The next attempt at a coup d’état will be aimed at this, they won’t leave Belarus alone so easily. The current pause (which can be hardly called a pause, because there is a provocation after a provocation) is connected solely with the fact that the Americans are accumulating forces, carrying out operational work among the would-be activists of the protest movement and trying to bring in the money that is necessary to repeat those mass protests and riots that were in 2020,” noted the expert.
Andrei Manoilo believes that Belarus will face such a challenge again, and in this regard, the experience of the CSTO – which resisted such an attempt at an armed rebellion in Kazakhstan – is very important.
