Russian intelligence: Ukraine's special services may blow up a foreign ship in the Baltic and blame Russia

Ukrainian special services may blow up a foreign vessel in the Baltic Sea using Russian naval mines in order to shift responsibility to Russia and close its access to the Baltic Sea – as stated by the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, TASS reports

The document of the Russian special services reads, “It is supposed, in particular, to use Russian-made naval mines at Ukraine's disposal to organise the detonation of a foreign vessel in the waters of the Baltic Sea. The responsibility for that will be shifted to Moscow. According to Ukrainian and Western intelligence agencies, such an action will prompt the NATO leadership to close Russia's access to the Baltic Sea under the pretext of ensuring the safety of maritime navigation.”

Based on the incoming reports, the Ukrainian special services, with the assistance of Western curators, are preparing to carry out a series of high-profile anti-Russian provocations in the near future. "Kiev's goal is to draw the [North Atlantic] Alliance into a direct armed conflict with the Russian Federation," the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia warned.
