Russian intelligence: Europe fabricating new accusations about Trump's ties with Moscow

British and French intelligence agencies are persistently fabricating new accusations about alleged ties between US President Donald Trump and Moscow, and they plan to use these falsifications to torpedo the negotiation process to resolve the situation in Ukraine, TASS reports

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service said in a statement, “The British and French special services are persistently sending information dirt seekers from the Anti-Corruption Foundation, The Project and Medusa publications who have escaped from Russia and are on the verge of survival to fabricate accusations of Trump's entourage in secret ties with Russian political and business circles.”

According to the Russian press bureau, London and Paris are ‘most interested in information about American business projects with Gazprom, Rosneft, Rostec and Rosatom state corporations’. “The results of these falsifications are planned to be used to discredit the policy of the White House and torpedo the negotiation process for a peaceful settlement of the crisis in Ukraine," the source added.

According to Russian intelligence services, the newly-minted ‘European warmongers’ are, in fact, launching a campaign to undermine Trump's peacekeeping efforts, “Such a dirty campaign convinces that Europeans do not draw conclusions from the previous miscalculations and mistakes of the liberal globalists. They have clearly forgotten about the relatively recent unsuccessful accusations of Trump's pro-Russian orientation during his first presidential term. The attempts to incriminate the American leader with ‘criminal ties’ with Moscow turned out to be ridiculous. Upon returning to the White House, Trump first decided to declassify the investigation files in order to show the world the bias of his opponents from the FBI and the US Department of Justice.”

It is also reported that the European special services – ‘by stepping on the old rake’ – once again demonstrate their commitment to ‘formulaic and unscrupulous means’ to achieve the criminal goal of ‘making the conflict in Ukraine between European NATO member states and Russia endless’.
