Russian electronic warfare system suppressed NATO drone over Black Sea

The Russian Armed Forces’ electronic warfare system suppressed a drone belonging to the North Atlantic Alliance with help of interference. It was trying to conduct reconnaissance in the interests of Ukraine over the Black Sea – as reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a source.

The NATO strategic drone approached the coast of Crimea and tried to conduct reconnaissance, the source said. However, the electronic warfare system of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation prevented it from doing that with help of combined interference of radio sensors. The unmanned aerial vehicle’s mission became meaningless as a result.

The source did not disclose other details of the incident.
