Russian diplomat: Finland preparing its citizens for war
Finnish authorities are escalating the atmosphere of military psychosis in the country and urging citizens to prepare for war – as noted by Russia’s Ambassador to Finland Pavel Kuznetsov, RIA Novosti reports
According to the diplomat, the atmosphere of military psychosis is being intensified in the country. The population is being intimidated by Russia's ‘aggressive plans’ and urged to prepare for war.
Mr. Kuznetsov added that various initiatives are being encouraged to maintain military skills among the population, the country’s raid shelters are being revamped and this process is widely covered by the media, the network of shooting clubs is expanding, and the age limit for military personnel in the reserve is increasing.
As the diplomat explained, the Finnish leadership is thus justifying the country’s ‘hasty’ entry into NATO and the growth of military spending.
