Senior Russian diplomat said progress from Alaska summit in support of resolving Ukraine conflict exhausted

The strong momentum from the Russia-USA summit in Anchorage, aimed at resolving the situation in Ukraine, has been largely exhausted — as noted by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, TASS reports

“Unfortunately, we must acknowledge that Anchorage’s strong impulse supporting the agreements has been largely exhausted due to the actions of both opponents and supporters of the ‘war to the last Ukrainian’, especially among Europeans,” the Russian diplomat asserted.

“This result is due to the destructive activities of the Europeans, primarily, and we speak about it openly and directly,” Mr. Ryabkov emphasised.
