As previously reported, another Ukraine-related meeting of the United Nations Security Council will take place on January 13th.

"I will not talk about what will be discussed upon our initiative with regard to the Ukrainian issue at the Security Council on January 17th. We’ll keep our opponents guessing until then, though we have already demonstrated them that we try to respond to their ‘anti–Russian’ meeting with our own – focusing on a topic that is uncomfortable for them," Mr. Polyansky commented.

In addition, on January 20th, Russia will hold an informal meeting of the Security Council on the December shelling of Donbass. "There will be interesting speakers and facts," the First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN added.
