Russia resumed gas supplies to Italy through Austria
Gazprom has resumed gas supplies to Italian consumers through Austria, RIA Novosti reports
According to the company's press service, Gazprom – jointly with gas buyers in Italy – has found a solution on the format of interaction in the context of regulatory changes that occurred in Austria in late September.
Gas transit through Austria has become possible after the national operator announced its readiness to confirm Gazprom Export's transport applications.
The resumption of supplies has also been confirmed by Italy’s Eni oil and gas company.
