Russia has necessary potential to cover sanctions-caused losses, Peskov says

The Russian Federation has the necessary potential to compensate the damage caused by new western sanctions – as stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports

"These are hard sanctions, they are problematic, but Russia has the necessary potential to compensate the damage," Mr. Peskov said.

The Kremlin spokesman also noted that the Russian Federation had been consistently preparing for possible sanctions for a long time.
