Romanov: US uses refugees as weapons to weaken Europe

During his talk with ONT TV channel, Oleg Romanov, the Chairman of the Belaya Rus Republican Public Association, member of the Standing Commission on Legislation and State Building of the Council of the Republic at the National Assembly of Belarus, believes that the United States is to blame for unleashing the Ukrainian conflict, as well as for the difficult economic situation that is developing in the EU

Oleg Romanov touched on the topic of refugees who tried to get to European countries last year, “Of course, those events were a tragic page both in the history of Europe and in the history of our country in the sense that we needed to solve this issue both from practical and philanthropic points of view simultaneously. We had to help those people who ended up at the border during November cold. However, here I would like to focus on the following aspect: the fact that our country acted as much correctly and efficiently as possible in that situation is completely obvious to me. Meanwhile, in this regard, it is important to do credit to America.

According to the Chairman of the Belaya Rus Association, US strategic planners are very competently solving the problem of maintaining the United States as a world leader. Here’s how they do it, “They are destroying their competitors. They are pitting Europe against Russia and Belarus. Having unleashed the Ukrainian conflict, they squander the European economy while also kindling a hotbed of tension in the post-Soviet space. Moreover, refugees are being used as a weapon that destabilises the economic situation in the EU. In the end, over all these years Europe has been flooded (with refugees), and the quality of life has sharply decreased there while the level of crime has increased. It seems that the labour force is increasing, but in fact it is dropping, because it is low-skilled workforce and the costs for these people are very huge. EU social spending is simply astronomical. It seems to me that this migration crisis can and should be viewed as one of the directions of the US attack towards Europe in order to weaken it.”
