Romanov: US is the only side interested in continuing Ukrainian conflict
The only beneficiary of the events in Ukraine is the United States of America – as noted by Oleg Romanov, the Chairman of the Belaya Rus public association, during his talk with ONT TV channel
He noted that the European Union, Russia and Ukraine are losing to one degree or another while the United States wants the conflict to continue, because it is beneficial to it from different points of view.
“The only side that is interested in continuing the conflict is the United States. The meaning of this interest is to weaken its geopolitical and economic competitors: the European Union and the East Slavic region. Here we can see the US strategy, which was implemented during the Great Patriotic War when they said that let the Nazis kill more Russians and Russians kill more Nazis, while the USA will help those who are weaker at this moment so that the conflict lasts as long as possible. As a result of WWII, the United States made a powerful economic breakthrough. Now they want to maintain their dominance by weakening competitors, by maintaining influence in the economic, political, financial, military and other spheres. At the same time, what is happening now is a real tragedy for the European continent, especially the East Slavic region.”
