Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik has met with Volgograd Region Governor Andrei Bocharov to discuss the current state of co-operation between Belarus and the Russian region. The participants of the meeting exchanged views on ways to improve joint work.
“The two sides discussed the participation of Belarusian manufacturers in the renewal of the passenger car fleet, the supply of municipal and road vehicles, the prospects for the establishment of joint machine building enterprises and the development of industrial co-operation and possible projects in the field of waste management. They also paid attention to transport and logistics issues, as well as the development of international transit corridors,” the Belarusian Embassy’s press service reported.
A separate issue on the agenda was the progress of preparations for the Great Heritage – Common Future International Patriotic Forum of the Union State of Belarus and Russia to be held in Volgograd in late April.
