Co-operation roadmap and bilateral documents signed after Lukashenko’s talks with Mirziyoyev
The talks between the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, and the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyev, in narrow and expanded formats ended at the Kuksaroy Palace, resulting in a package of documents signed, including 2024-2025 action plan (roadmap) for co-operation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan
Moreover, agreements were signed on the use of electronic systems for certification of the origin of goods; and in the field of intellectual property.
A roadmap for further development of agricultural co-operation for 2024-2026, a programme of co-operation in the field of culture and art, an action plan for the development of tourism co-operation, and a range of documents in the field of education were also signed. In addition, the parties signed an agreement on the establishment of twin-city relations and the development of multifaceted interaction between Minsk and Tashkent.
The two presidents have also adopted a joint statement.
