RIPO looks forward to organising training and skill development for Pakistanis
The Republican Institute of Professional Education (RIPO) plans to present its potential to Pakistan in order to organise training for citizens of this country in manual labour jobs and for pedagogical staff in advanced training and internship programmes
As part of the implementation of the provisions of the memorandum of understanding between the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) of Pakistan and RIPO, an online meeting was held with the NAVTTC Directorate headed by Executive Director Muhammad Aamir Jan,” the institute reported. “The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Co-ordination and the Higher Education Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, from the Belarusian side – the RIPO management and representatives of the EcoTechnoPark-Volma Resource Centre”.
The parties discussed the draft programme of joint actions to implement the memorandum, the possibility of a visit of the NAVTTC delegation to Minsk to identify practical steps to ensure the implementation of the main provisions of the memorandum, to get acquainted with the scientific, methodological and educational potential of RIPO, to organise training of Pakistani citizens in manual labour jobs and pedagogical staff of this country under advanced training and internship programmes at RIPO and Belarusian colleges. In addition, the Pakistani side can benefit from the Belarusian experience in setting up and operating competence centres.
“RIPO Rector Valery Golubovsky invited the NAVTTC management to visit the business programme of the 6th Republican Professional Skills Competition ProfSkills Belarus 2025,” the institute added.
The Republican Institute of Professional Education is a scientific and methodological educational institution of integrated type with the functions of scientific, methodological and personnel support of the system of vocational education in Belarus. RIPO has branches: colleges, where students study on the basis of general basic and general secondary education, and the EcoTechnoPark-Volma Resource Centre.
