Representatives of various professions received state awards and commendation letters of the President of Belarus

Representatives of various fields of activity were awarded state awards and letters of commendation of the President of Belarus for their many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, significant personal contribution to state building, and active participation in the socio-political life of the country. The corresponding decree and executive order were signed by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service.

The Order of Honour was awarded to the Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Valery Malashko, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court Piotr Miklashevich, the Deputy Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Privalov, and the First Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Maksim Ryzhenkov.

Those awarded the Medal for Labour Merits are the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda and the Chairman of the Standing Commission for Legislation and State Administration of the Council of the Republic Sergei Sivets. The same award was awarded to representatives of state bodies, public organisations, and the media.

The Medal of Francysk Skaryna was bestowed upon Aleksei Talay, an instructor of the national team of the Republic of Belarus in Invasport.

The Honoured Lawyer of the Republic of Belarus honorary title was also awarded to Vadim Ipatov, the Director of the National Centre for Legislation and Legal Research, and Valery Mitskevich, the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives.

The merits of several dozen people were marked with the President’s letters of commendations. These include representatives of public administration, deputies, law enforcement agencies, public associations, military personnel, the media, representatives of local authorities, the judiciary, enterprises and organisations.
