Refugee found dead on Belarusian-Polish border
On April 3rd, not far from the Belarusian-Polish border, the dead body of a man, a citizen of Guinea, was found – as reported in the Telegram channel of the State Border Committee of Belarus
“The dead refugee had foodstuffs, the labeling and packaging of which contained information about the manufacturer and indicated the fact of their purchase in Poland,” the State Border Committee said in a statement.
According to preliminary information, the refugee was thrown out from the adjacent territory and left on the Belarusian side in a helpless state. The State Border Committee noted that a citizen of Guinea could die because of hypothermia.
Law enforcement agencies are currently establishing all the circumstances of the death of a refugee, giving a legal assessment of the actions of the Polish side.
