Tajikistan is ready to make efforts to enrich relations with Belarus – as noted by the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, at talks with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, in Dushanbe, BelTA reports
"We appreciate the relations of friendship and strategic partnership with the Republic of Belarus. They are distinguished by a high level of trust and mutual support," Emomali Rahmon said.
The President of Tajikistan recognised a huge personal contribution of Belarus’ Head of State to the development of mutually beneficial relations between the countries. "Our interstate co-operation at the present stage is steadily developing in political, trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres. We are ready to make additional efforts for its further enrichment," he stated.
Emomali Rahmon expressed confidence that the package of bilateral documents signed following the talks will contribute to achieving this task.
