Rahmon outlined priority areas of co-operation with Belarus

Tajikistan is keen to develop co-operation with the Belarusian side in the spheres of light, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and mining industries – as stated by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon after his talks with President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko in Dushanbe, BelTA reports

“The agricultural sector in the field of industrial interaction and interregional collaboration were identified as priority areas for economic co-operation. In the context of the implementation of the programme for the accelerated development of the industry of Tajikistan, we noted our interest in developing liaisons with the Belarusian side in light, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and mining industries,” Emomali Rahmon noted.
