Putin ordered to sign agreement with Belarus on security guarantees within Union State

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted the proposal of the Russian Foreign Ministry to sign an agreement between Russia and Belarus on security guarantees within the framework of the Union State, TASS reports

“Consider it as expedient to sign the agreement at the highest level,” the Russian leader’s order reads. The text of the document is posted on the official portal of legal information.

The nearest Russian-Belarusian top-level meeting, i.e., at the level of heads of state, will be held on December 6th in Minsk as part of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.
