Putin: Aleksandr Grigorievich was right to note that our talks were really useful

It turned out to be very useful to sum up the results of the joint work that the governments and various ministries, departments, services of Russia and Belarus have done over the course of a whole year – as stated by President of Russia Vladimir Putin following the talks with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, held in Minsk

The Russian leader noted, “First of all, I would like to thank the President of Belarus for the invitation to visit Minsk and the traditionally warm welcome extended to the Russian delegation. As Aleksandr Grigorievich rightly noted, our talks were really useful. During the talks in an extended format and now, face to face, we talked about this, they were very useful and timely. It seems that we meet often, but nevertheless, it turned out to be very useful to sum up the results of the joint work that the governments and our various ministries, departments and services have done over the course of a whole year. Moreover, not only to sum up the results, but also to outline further steps.”

Vladimir Putin clarified, “Firstly, we talked in an extended format, with the participation of government leaders, key ministers and other representatives, supervising particular areas dealing with the development of bilateral relations, then continued face to face. But we also agreed to talk and discuss some issues during the working dinner.”
