Prospects for industrial co-operation development discussed by Aleinik and Zimbabwean Foreign Minister

Within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Zimbabwe, Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe Frederick Shava – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

The parties discussed topical issues of interaction between the two countries’ foreign ministries, including planned joint events, liaisons on international platforms, and issues of expanding the legal framework.

Particular attention was paid to detailing a number of topics of the upcoming state visit, including the prospects for the development of industrial collaboration between Belarus and Zimbabwe, the implementation of joint projects, and the further strengthening of interaction between the two countries across various sectors of the economy.

Frederick Shava confirmed the interest of the Zimbabwean side in continuing Belarus’ participation in the programme for the modernisation and mechanisation of agriculture.
