ProdExpo – 2021 to launch in Minsk tomorrow
The 27th International Specialised Wholesale Exhibition will last four days, attracting over 100 participants who will present their best food, beverages, the latest achievements and technologies. For example, Luninets Dairy Plant will bring its new A2 milk which is a promising innovative product. Foreign companies will come, and several Russian regions will also present their products.
A rich business programme is expected, with industry forums, conferences, presentations, contests and championships scheduled.
Belarus’ Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister, Aleksei Bogdanov, says the exhibition aims to ensure interaction between the country’s processing enterprises and trade organisations. In turn, the Domestic Consumer Market and Food Security business forum will gather industry professionals, including representatives of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, Belgospishcheprom Concern and the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies (Belkoopsoyuz), to discuss a wide range of issues.
The Modern Retail Technologies conference, individual – including online – negotiations of suppliers and buyers of food products, an international bakery symposium and a conference of Belarusian agribusiness producers, BelarusFresh, are also planned.
“The exhibition will be interesting for industry professionals and ordinary visitors,” Viktoria Agafonova, the Head of the Exhibition and Fair Department at BelExpo National Exhibition Centre, comments. “A food tour – #ЧемпионВкуса [Champion of Taste] – will be held for the first time this year, gathering wholesale buyers, active consumers, media representatives and bloggers. All necessary anti-epidemic measures will be ensured. We’ll do our best to make the events of the fair not only useful but also safe for its participants and visitors.”
