Posters in support of Aleksandr Lukashenko and Belarusian people displayed in Belgrade’s centre
The Serbian conservative movement Nasi [Ours] has placed posters with the image of Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko and the inscription ‘Winner!’ in the centre of Belgrade in a response to the resolution adopted by the European Parliament members, in which the EU countries were urged not to recognise the results of the Presidential election in Belarus, sb.by reports
“Our posters clearly express a message of support for the brotherly Belarusian people and their leader, who have become the target of an organised campaign aimed at undermining the sovereignty of this country,” the Nasi movement members said.
The placement of these posters is not only a symbolic act of support, but also a clear statement against the interference of foreign forces in the internal affairs of sovereign states. The Nasi movement also emphasised that Belarus and Serbia have deep historical and cultural ties, and the Belarusian people have repeatedly proved their friendship towards Serbia. This gesture reminds us that solidarity and joint struggle against external dictates is a common duty.
