Possible wave of Syrian refugees concerns Poland
Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Maciek Duszczyk posted on X that in the light of its upcoming upcoming EU Council presidency, Poland expects the events in Syria to result in more migration out of the country, RIA Novosti reports

“As the future EU Council President, we are analysing various scenarios for migration out of Syria brought in by the events unfolding before our eyes. Ensuring security is key,” Mr. Duszczyk wrote.
Poland will act as the President of the Council of the European Union in the first six months of 2025.
