Pope called the West the biggest graveyard of humanity
Western countries cannot be regarded as a ‘role example’ because they have gone down the wrong path – as stated by Pope Francis, TASS reports
The Pontiff pointed out that the West has chosen the false paths for itself.
“The West has gone down a false path, for example, in terms of social justice <...>. [The West] is currently the biggest graveyard of humanity,” he shared.
The Pope added that in the current situation in the world, the West ‘forgets’ to accept migrants into its territory.
“We need people in Spain, in Italy. <...> Why is the West not pursuing a policy of migrant integration?” the Pontiff asked.
Earlier an Italian journalist said that the Pope was dissatisfied with some of the actions of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This refers to the pressure of the Ukrainian leader on the Pontiff regarding the support of Kiev. As the journalist noted, the Vatican does not like it when the Pontiff is told what to do.
