Political analyst explains NATO’s strategic plan
The main task of the North Atlantic Alliance is to cut off Russia from the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea so that it loses its status as a key power on the political map of the world. According to the analyst of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies Aleksei Avdonin, this is NATO’s strategic plan.
The specialist stressed that NATO always acts in a stereotyped manner, using proven algorithms.
“Now they are preparing their public for a so-called fair response. We must remember that not only did the rhetoric change; they changed their ideology and philosophy. Now they say that Belarus is already occupied by Russia. If the Russian Federation is conditionally an aggressor, then they allegedly have the right to liberate Belarus from this aggressor. This rhetoric started to change about a month ago, and now it is actively being introduced into Western public opinion,” the analyst said during his talk with ONT TV channel.
Avdonin also commented on the incidents on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, “The actions that the Ukrainian side is taking to strengthen the border with us are being taken not for an offensive operation, but for a defensive one. NATO plans for 2006-2007 included the encirclement of Belarus by two groups. Therefore, they are making this defensive line so that our troops and groupings cannot cut the fist that is being formed in NATO.”
The expert outlined the main task of NATO, “It consists in cutting off Russia from the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea. It is desirable to cut off a piece that connects the Black and Baltic Seas, including Belarus. And then Russia loses the status of some key power on the political map of the world, becoming a regional state, which will continue to be easily divided. Here is NATO’s strategic plan.”
The analyst is convinced that the main task of Belarus now is active information counteraction. It is important to convey that NATO is an aggressor who is trying to change us.
