Polish trucks and heavy haulers restricted from entering Belarus’ territory

The corresponding resolution has been signed by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko

“The movement of trucks and heavy haulers registered in the Republic of Poland will now be carried out for cargo operations or transshipment only through the Belarusian-Polish section of the state border of the Republic of Belarus,” the press service of the Government reported.

The resolution was adopted in connection with the closure by the Polish side of the Bobrovniki checkpoint (adjacent to Belarusian Berestovitsa) on February 10th.

“In order to evenly distribute traffic flows sent from road checkpoints to specially designated places for cargo operations or transhipment, such places are supplemented with the Berestovitsa-TLC customs checkpoint and a waiting area for entry to the Berestovitsa checkpoint for Kozlovichi (Belarusian-Polish section), Privalka and Benyakoni (Belarusian-Lithuanian section) points,” the source clarified.

The resolution comes into force after its official publication.
