Polish politician: by building nuclear power plant, Belarus risen to higher technological level than Poland

By building its own nuclear power plant, Belarus has risen to a higher technological level than Poland – as stated by the Chairman of Poland’s Front political party, Krzysztof Tolwinski, in his talk with the ONT channel, sb.by reports

Mr. Tolwinski said that ‘some kind of absurdity’ is taking place in Poland. “By building a nuclear power plant, Belarus has risen to a higher technological level than Poland. All previous Polish governments staged hybrid wars against Belarus, though they understood that the development of nuclear energy would allow Poland to reach the same high level. That was the meanness of the Polish authorities towards the country’s citizens,” he explained.

The politician also added that, according to Eurostat, energy prices are the highest in Poland among all other EU states. “The economy is uncompetitive. Western capital is leaving Poland. It earlier came to the country because of low energy and labour prices, but companies are closing, people are losing their jobs and moving abroad now,” Mr. Tolwinski said.
