Police officers in Paris used tear gas against climate activists who blocked one of the entrances to the building where a meeting of the French energy company TotalEnergies was to take place, RIA Novosti reports

The energy company employees planned to meet in the Pleyel Hall in Paris. It is noted that climate activists were warned three times over the loudspeaker about the need to leave. After that, the police used tear gas. Before that, the police managed to push back about ten protesters who were obstructing the entrance to the hall.

It is noted that activists were sitting on the ground near the building since early morning. They tried to interfere with the meeting.
