Poland to buy recon drones from USA

Poland decided to purchase MQ-9B SkyGuardian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from the US, RIA Novosti reports

As the Polish Defence Ministry announced, “On December 12th, at the Defence Ministry headquarters in Warsaw, Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz will sign a contract to purchase MQ-9B SkyGuardian unmanned aerial vehicles for the Polish Army.”

The announcement further states that the MQ-9B will replace leased MQ-9A Reaper systems used since February 2023.
