Photo exhibition dedicated to achievements of sovereign Belarus unveiled in Serbia
The Sovereign Belarus photo exhibition is being held in Belgrade at the Journalists’ Union of Serbia, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Serbia
The exhibition has been prepared by the Belarusian Embassy in Serbia in co-operation with the Belgrade-based Axios Gallery. The opening event was attended by officials from the Serbian ministries and agencies, members of the National Assembly, the diplomatic corps, media representatives, and the general public.
Sergei Malinovsky, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Serbia, expressed his gratitude to the representatives of the Serbian Culture Ministry, as well as the management and staff of the Axios Gallery, for their support and assistance in arranging the exhibition. He emphasised that cultural co-operation plays a vital role in strengthening personal connections and fostering friendly relations between Belarus and Serbia.
The diplomat expressed optimism that the photos displayed at the exhibition, showcasing the beauty of nature, historical monument, traditions, and modern achievements of sovereign Belarus in industry, agriculture and various other sectors, will help visitors become acquainted with or gain a deeper understanding of Belarus.
Axios Gallery Director Jasmina Debeljak shared her personal impressions of her visit to Belarus while participating in the Slaviansky Bazar International Festival of Arts in Vitebsk, where she co-organised an exhibition of contemporary Serbian art. A memorable artistic highlight of the exhibition’s opening ceremony was the Belarusian song Zroblena u Belarusi [translated as Made in Belarus], performed by Belarusian singer Darya Isakovich.
The photo exhibition entitled Sovereign Belarus opened on October 15th in the historic centre of Belgrade and will be on display for two weeks.
