Parliamentarians of Belarus and Iran discuss bilateral interaction

From July 11th-14th, a working group of the National Assembly of Belarus on co-operation with the Parliament of Iran is visiting Tehran – as reported on the official website of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus

The head of the working group, Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives, Andrei Savinykh, has met with the head of the working group of the Assembly of the Islamic Council of Iran on co-operation with the Parliament of Belarus, Aboulfazl Amui.

The parties discussed bilateral liaisons in the economic, educational and other areas, paying special attention to inter-parliamentary interaction. The two sides also confirmed their interest and readiness to promote further development of relations and ties between Belarus and Iran across areas of mutual interest.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy head of the working group of the National Assembly of Belarus on co-operation with the Parliament of Iran, member of the Council of the Republic Yuri Derkach.
