Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Belarus on official visit
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Belarus on an official visit, BelTA reports
Belarus’ Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin has met his Pakistani counterpart at the airport.
On the first day of the official visit, the Belarus-Pakistan Business Council is organised in Minsk in the form of a business forum.
On April 11th, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is scheduled to hold talks with the Pakistani PM. The meeting of the two leaders will be held at the Palace of Independence in narrow and expanded formats. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Shehbaz Sharif will discuss the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of Belarus to Pakistan in November 2024, with a focus on the development of trade-economic liaisons. The sides will pay special attention to key issues on the global and regional agenda and the interaction between the two countries on international platforms.
A number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed following the talks.
