Over 2,700 Ukrainians arrived to Belarus since March 25th

Since March 25th, 2,734 citizens of Ukraine have arrived in Belarus, including 646 by transit through the European Union – as Belarus’ State Border Committee posted in its Telegram channel

From 6am on March 25th to 6am on March 28th, 2,088 citizens of Ukraine arrived in Belarus through the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. 604 more people transited through Poland to Belarus. Another 39 arrived in the country via Lithuania, and three – via Latvia.

The State Border Committee notes that Belarus continues to provide the necessary assistance to those coming from Ukraine. Based on the Belarusian President’s decision, a visa-free entry to the country is allowed to foreigners travelling from Ukraine to their place of permanent residence until April 15th, inclusive.

As reported, Belarus’ border checkpoints operate normally.
