Opinion: information space in Ukraine destroyed

The Ukrainian information space is used not to inform people, but to manipulate them – as stated by political scientist Piotr Petrovsky in his talk with the CTV TV channel

“On the one hand, the information space in Ukraine has been destroyed as a result of discreditation, but – on the other hand – it has been used not to inform people, but to manipulate them, since a struggle for the flows and resources that oligarchs have taken from the state is in full swing. Differently speaking, this is a completely non-sovereign information space," Mr. Petrovsky stressed.

The political scientist believes this is one of the reasons for the problems observed in Ukraine at the moment. “This has actually destroyed the state [Ukraine]. Do we need this? No," he stated.
