Open Parachuting Championships of Belarus’ Armed Forces kicked off in Vitebsk

The 21st Open Parachuting Championships of the Armed Forces of Belarus have started on the premises of the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade and the Vitebsk aero club named after A. K. Gorovets, sb.by reports with reference to the Telegram channel of Belarus’ Defence Ministry

Teams of the special operations forces, the Air Force and Air Defence units, the Emergencies Ministry, the DOSAAF (Volunteer Society for the Assistance to the Army, Aviation, and Navy) aero clubs from across Belarus are competing for the title of the best parachutists, along with squads of the armed forces of Russia and Uzbekistan.

Representatives of Azerbaijan have arrived as observers to study the organisation of the event and the possibilities for their participation next year.

The competition programme includes individual and team accuracy landing, as well as acrobatic jumps.
