Online store selling firewood began its work in Ukraine
A state-run online store selling firewood for citizens has started working in Ukraine, and forestry enterprises are already taking orders from Ukrainians, RIA Novosti reports
According to Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, it takes a couple of clicks to buy firewood. It is also possible to order delivery right to the door.
The store's website has infographics about the energy value of various types of wood, also providing tips on determining the volume of wood fuel.
As informed, in order to avoid speculation and wholesale purchases, the service has introduced authorisation and a limit of 15 cubic metres of firewood per season per user. By now, almost 2.5m cubic metres of firewood have been sold, and another 1.1m is planned to be sold by the end of 2022.
