News photo: Berlin residents take to street in support of refugees

People have gathered in Berlin today to support people who are unsuccessfully trying to get into the EU. The campaign began at the Brandenburg Gate and continued towards the headquarters of the German Foreign Ministry.

Hundreds of people took part in the rally. They had Open Borders posters in their hands and chanted: No Person Should Be Outside the Law. People also kept photos of refugees trapped on the Belarusian-Polish border. The distressful situation with migrants on the Belarusian-Polish border leaves no ordinary German indifferent.

The protesters called on their government to respond to the situation and render all possible assistance to migrants.
