News photo: Belpochta awarded silver at international philately competition
Belpochta was awarded a silver medal at an international competition held by the Universal Postal Union and the International Federation of Philately
“Since 2008, the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the International Federation of Philately have been conducting international competition classes for stamp-issuing postal organisations of UPU member countries and their territories. Postal miniatures are shown at major international and worldwide philatelic exhibitions, and the exhibits are evaluated by a jury consisting of members of the international bureau and experts with special qualifications for this task. This event is a great opportunity to introduce Belarusian philatelic products to foreign collectors,” the Belarusian company reported.
In order to promote Belarusian philatelic products on the international market, Belpochta participated in the 20th UPU Competition Class. “A thematic exposition – From Belarus With Love – was presented, and it included postal products introduced into circulation from 2021 to 2024. By the decision of the international jury, the Belarusian exposition was awarded a silver medal in the B Group of the Competition Class (countries issuing from 30 to 69 postage stamps per year). This award is a vivid testimony to the high quality of Belarusian postal products and professionalism of the Belpochta employees,” the company added.
Since early 2025, Belpochta’s exposition has participated in such international philatelic exhibitions as URUGUAY 2025 (Punta del Este, Uruguay), BERNABA 2025 (Bern, Switzerland), GASS 2025 (Chicago, the United States), PHILAKOREA 2025 (Seoul, Republic of Korea), and UAE (Dubai).
