News photo: Belarus’ FM awarded world’s best geographer Nikolai Misiyuk

On September 17th, the absolute winner of the International Geography Olympiad (iGEO-2025), a graduate of Brest’s gymnasium No. 2, Nikolai Misiyuk, was awarded with memorable gifts from Belarus’ Foreign Ministry and the Belarusian Geographical Society during the opening of the exhibition of geographical maps — Belarus on the Map: Journey to the Unified Land — held at the country’s Foreign Ministry, sb.by reports. In particular, he received the National Atlas of Belarus from the hands of Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov and a commemorative watch from the Ignat Dameika limited edition collection from the Belarusian Geographical Society.
