New party – Belaya Rus – registered in Belarus
A solemn ceremony of handing over the certificate of registration of the new Belarusian party, Belaya Rus, has taken place at the Justice Ministry
As noted by Belaya Rus Chairman, Oleg Romanov, the party will soon start opening regional branches, “In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus on Political Parties, branches should be formed in each region and in the city of Minsk. There should also be district offices, at least in a third of all districts of each region. Actually, we want the regional branches to operate countrywide, and we plan to complete their creation by August 30th.”
According to Mr. Romanov, Belaya Rus is a truly nation’s party. “This is the party of the majority of the Belarusian society, the party of support for the Belarusian Head of State,” he stressed.
