New group first-aid kits soon to be used by Armed Forces of Belarus

This was stated by chief doctor of the Healthcare Ministry’s National Medical Response Centre Dmitry Alkhovik, who added that right now specialists are completing these group first-aid kits

“They are designed for units of 10 to 30 people. They can be used to provide assistance, as well as to complete the first-aid kits that every soldier has. Our first-aid kit boasts a modular design principle: three compartments, three access zones (red, yellow and green or small, medium and large). Depending on the situation, the correct compartment can be used.

The specialist added that there is a large amount of dressings, painkillers, and haemostatics in the first-aid kit.

“It was filled taking into account modern military realities. The evacuation time has increased, so the provision of medical supplies should be at a higher level in order to maintain the wounded in a normal condition until they are delivered to a medical facility. First-aid kits will soon go to the Armed Forces.”
