New bio- and chemical defence unit to take part in CSTO exercises

New joint formation of radiation, chemical and biological defence will take part in the upcoming exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation in 2022 – as announced by the CSTO Joint Staff’s press secretary, Vladislav Shchegrikovich, BelTA reports

This decision was made during the consultations held on March 10^th-11^th on the organisation of joint training for the command and formations of the CSTO collective security system in 2022.

“The participation in joint exercises of a new unit of the collective security system – the joint formation of radiation, chemical and biological defence and medical support of the CSTO – was approved,” informed the press secretary.
