Nebenzia: Russia will view ‘dirty bomb’ use by Ukraine as nuclear terrorism

The Russian Federation calls on the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, to do everything possible to prevent Ukrainian authorities’ provocation dealing with the use of ‘a dirty bomb’ – as noted in a message of the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, to the Secretary-General, TASS reports

"We call on the UN Secretary-General to do everything in his power to prevent this heinous crime," the document reads. “We will consider the use of ‘a dirty bomb’ by the Kiev regime as an act of nuclear terrorism.”

It is noted in the message that – according to the Russian Defence Ministry – ‘a provocation can be carried out with support of Western countries’. Mr. Nebenzia stressed that Russia calls on the West to use its influence on Kiev so that it gives up its dangerous plans that threaten international security and peace.

In addition, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN noted that Russia did not plan and is not going to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
