Nebenzia doesn’t rule out further ‘provocations like in Bucha’
The Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, said that in the future there will be new ‘provocations like those staged in Bucha’ – as reported by RIA Novosti
At a meeting of the UN Security Council, Nebenzia addressed his Western colleagues, “We understand perfectly well what you are doing, playing the Ukrainian card and whipping up a hysterical anti-Russian propaganda campaign every day.”
The Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation said that Russia assumed that ‘new vile provocations like those staged in Bucha will continue, as will new attempts to denigrate Russian soldiers and present them as sadists and rapists’. Nebenzia called this ‘extreme meanness’.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the situation around the Ukrainian city of Bucha is a ‘fake attack’. A few days earlier, photos and videos appeared on the network showing the bodies of those killed on the road. The captions indicate that this was filmed in Bucha. The Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation called it a provocation. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that Russia rejects all accusations of involvement in the death of people in Bucha.
